Artist biography

Color, gesture, and psychological presence.

Randy Dillon is a Texas-based contemporary artist working across painting, drawing, digital media, and fine-art printmaking. His portrait work favors psychological presence over polished likeness, using compressed color, visible gesture, and deliberate distortion to make the emotional temperature of a face or figure immediately felt. His landscapes approach place with the same intensity: shore, mountain, water, sky, and weather are rebuilt through energetic rhythm and saturated color.

Dillon served six years in the United States Marine Corps and is a combat veteran of Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom. After completing his military service, he earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of North Texas.
